Secondly, there is the issue of membrane plasticization. Under high pressure conditions, CO2 may cause plasticization of polymer membranes, leading to an increase in permeability coefficient and a severe decrease in selectivity. Therefore, when selecting membrane materials, priority should be given to their high selectivity and resistance to plasticization.
